This project was to dry ice blast the underneath of the paper mill machine. Polar Clean technicians had to access the area using a 4.5’-8’ deep pit under the machine to blast up at the bottom of the water catch pans to remove carbonate that flakes off into the production screens, causing quality control problems. This machinery was secured using lockout-tagout procedure to provide maximum safety and efficiency.
